Haskell STEAM Magnet is proud to be a full STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) magnet school, with more than 500 students in grades K-5. This upcoming school year, 2022-2023, we are expanding by adding a Kinder Magnet class!

Enrollment Information

Enrollment for grades K-5 requires an application submitted through the LAUSD eChoices website. If you are already at Haskell EL STEAM Magnet, you do not need to reapply for the following school year. 

Please be aware of the following important dates regarding magnet enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year:

•  -eChoices application window closes at 5pm

• December 2023 -Confirmation/Correction Letters have been sent to parents' emails or via USPS. Parents should be opening their email notifications and then logging into their Apply Portal to view their Confirmation or Correction Letter.  Once in the Portal, parents should check for 'My Messages'. 

• February  2024- Late Application Opens for 2022-23 schoolyear
• March  2024 -Selected/Waitlist Letters mailed home or notifications sent by email
